[KITlist-Tech] From Sue: The COVID-19 pandemic and how we can all help. Starting a YouTube channel for ideas and resources.

IMPORTANT! Please do NOT hit reply! It will spam the entire list and create a nightmare for everyone. Please only email me directly at sue@kitlist.org. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Hello Everyone,
With the growth of the corona virus and the impact on the entire world, Kelly (my sister and co-moderator) and I have been trying to think of ways we can help.

We thought we could tap into our wonderful KIT List community since it is filled with so many talented, compassionate and resourceful people and we can join together as a force for good!
We created a YouTube channel as a place to share ideas and resources with each other. Since the Yahoo Groups platform has become such a problem (all replies and responses now spam the entire list. Argh!) we need to keep the email list for jobs only.

Please take a few minutes (six to be exact!) to watch our first video on how we can turn the power of the tremendous people of KIT List to help our communities in the midst of this unprecedented time:https://youtu.be/RpYnvEQA9vk

With so many people losing their jobs, and the challenges as the infection rate increases, we can all do so much by helping neighbors, friends, and those in need. In the face of the uncertainty, fears and concerns, let's tap into the positive power of this special community!
Other ways to share ideas and resources are in the comments sections of the KIT List Facebook page and blog:https://www.facebook.com/KITlistJobs/
https://kitlist.wordpress.com/

I truly believe that we will emerge stronger and better in the fact of this historic challenge and opportunity.
Wishing you and your families health and protection. We're all in this together!

Mr. Tzouris,

I am most surprised you are contacting me on this?
Did you not review my resume?
I am NOT software developer but rather an IT Project Manager and Business Analyst.
If you have appropriate roles here in the Bay Area, please inform me as such.

[KITlist-Tech] From Sue: Please! Do not send emails to the entire list. Sorry, but anyone spamming the list must be removed.

Hello Everyone,

I'm sorry all of you are all getting hit with this flurry of emails!

This is due to the new changes in Yahoo Groups.

They removed the ability for moderators to require post approvals prior to going out.

Unfortunately, any email going to the KIT List Yahoo Groups address now goes to the entire list! This is a big problem for all YG communities.

Unsubscribing:
There are sometimes problems with Yahoo Groups' unsubscribe function (please see the bottom of every KIT List email for the instructions on how to unsubscribe). If you have a challenge with unsubscribing, please contact me directly at Sue@KITlist.org or the emails listed at the bottom.

To protect the others on the list, I'm removing anyone who spams the entire list.

Please be very careful and do not send ANY emails to the KIT List Yahoo Groups email — even a BCC.

Thank you all for your understanding as we contend with the new changes in Yahoo Groups so we can keep this as a trusted list where great people can find great jobs.

The Yahoo Groups platform is the only way we can send out jobs to so many people free of charge.

Thank you all for your patience!

We appreciate the emails many of you have sent directly to us in support of the KIT List community.

Warmly,

Sue and Kelly Connelly
