Harmonic is seeking an experienced application developer to join our high-profile NMX team. Responsibilities include new software development and existing software maintenance and enhancements. Candidate is to be capable of all stages of the software development cycle from requirements to design, code, and unit testing. Be able to work in a team environment as well as individually, able to interact with external groups, depending on project scope. Must have good communication skills, a willingness to learn and a great problem solving skills.
Required Job Skills:
C#, C++, WPF, .NET, OOD, Visual Studio 2008, client/server development, troubleshooting
Optional: ASP.NET, COM/DCOM, database, VB6, WCF, UML
Years of Direct Experience Required:
5-7 years
Areas of Direct Experience:
NMS, GUI, server, Windows desktop programming, usability, coding performance
Educational Requirements:
Bachelors in Computer Science
