Blue Coat Systems, a leader in secure content and WAN optimization, is looking for a Contract User Interface Engineer. In this role, you will be working with fellow team members, Product Management, and user experience design specialists to design the new UI. Then, as part of the team, you will play a key role in implementing the new UI in an agile, quality-focused development environment, incorporating feedback from the usability trials and the beta programs, and supporting the QA and test teams to ensure a successful product launch.
Requirements
- 5+ years of GUI development experience (JavaScript (AJAX), CSS, HTML, XML)
- Advanced object-oriented design and debugging skills
- Exposure to User Experience design
- BSCS or Masters in Computer Science or Engineering
- Experience with the Internationalization and Localization of UIs
- Experience with Agile Development methodologies (SCRUM, Test-driven development)
The following would be a real plus for the position:
- Java
- SCM systems (e.g. Perforce)
- C/C++ experience
- Network experience
