Location : Phoenix, AZ
Duration : 6 months +
The candidate will be responsible in managing multiple Infrastructure Operations project. The candidate must have managed Data center planning, Database upgrade / Migration and Networking Infrastructure planning / implementation projects. Experience with eCommerce, online financial or high availability infrastructure projects is a big plus.
Requirements:
* Bachelor´s degree in business, software engineering or computer science; advanced degree a plus.
* Project management certification or equivalent training, with experience in Microsoft Project 2000 a plus.
* 5-8+ years of experience in managing technology foucused projects
* Project planning, scheduling and tracking of project development cycles and acquisition of needed resources when appropriate.
* Extensive experience in Data center,Data services, Data Archiving,Data Retention
* Develop and implement QA plans in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Manager ensuring that key features are tested and that projects certified to be ready for production; are in fact ready for production.
* Work closely with developers; leading them to a successful project deliverable by working together
* Experience in Oracle 10g conversion projects a plus
* Software conversion/migration experience a plus
* Financial industry background is a plus
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Must be results-oriented, strategic in planning but tactically focused on results.
* Extensive experience in facilitating meetings and effective client interaction
* Ability to use independent judgment, to work independently and to make solid decisions.
* Solid organizational skills and time management skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills to partner with other teams and collaborate with peers and management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
