Contract position for a technical program manager, duration 4-5 months. Position will manage 3rd party software certification programs for graphics hardware. Position requires definition, execution, and evaluation of multiple programs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Independent Software Vendor (ISV) relationships on ISV certification submission & bug reporting level
- Track ISV driver bugs and communicate to engineering. Communicate effectively to ISVs on bug status.
- Work with internal legal to ensure NDA / license agreement clearance
- Obtain ISV´s updated software, test suites and deliver these tools to internal teams
- Troubleshoot, and install network licenses and assist engineering / testing teams on client license issues. Obtain extended or/and temporarily licenses as required.
- Maintain internal certification listings using pivot tables, and upload these certifications on amd.com
- Maintain communication with OEMs on certification level, bug issues/statuses, internal tracking of any logged bugs
Requirements:
- Work well with diverse teams and be creative / strategic thinker
- Ability to communicate with ISV partners, customers, internal engineering and marketing teams in an effective manner
- Ability to troubleshoot & narrow down basic driver display issues
- Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, and basic installations on professional software packages. Flexlm is a plus.
- Excellent organization skills required
- Knowledge of computer graphics hardware, software, and/or markets a plus
- Minimum 5 years recent experience in technical program management
