Software Engineer - Flash
We seek a sharp, highly skilled engineer to lead the design and development of adap.tv´s Video Player and Partner Integrations on our advertising platform. The technology is browser-focused and the code base is in ActionScript 3, ActionScript 2 and Javascript. We are also looking to expand into HTML5 so the more skills you can bring the greater our interest. We are expanding aggressively on top of our already dozens of video player and ad network partners. You will be responsible for a diverse software ecosystem and adept at a wide range from improving the architecture (core integration platform, build, deployment and regression systems) to integrating with the latest partner API´s to reducing the size of integrations and optimizing for performance. There is clear potential for this opportunity to grow into a leadership role as we scale the team. This is a programming position, not a flash design position.

Strong object-oriented programming fundamentals
Skilled with both ActionScript 2 and ActionScript 3
Solid knowledge in core Internet and Web technologies (i.e., Flash, HTML, JavaScript/AJAX, CSS, XML, browser quirks, TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.)

Ability to work with outside resources (3rd party systems, vendors, etc.) and seamlessly integrate into development efforts.
PREFERRED
Team leadership experience
Any experience with online advertising
Experience with online video (i.e., basic knowledge of codecs, container formats, playlist formats, player embedding techniques, etc.)
Experience with Java, Ruby
Great benefits - medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, free lunches, great people!
