MerchantCircle is seeking a Product Marketing Manager who is looking to work in a fast paced environment to help define and build the next-generation features that will support local small businesses nationwide.

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and managing marketing operations for the company. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and writing skills. He/she will be in charge of email systems and campaigns, lead the efforts in A/B testing for site/product optimizations as well as leveraging customer feedback and site analytics to drive successful product/feature positioning. The Product Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Product Marketing and will work very closely with other teams within the company including engineering and community team.

Responsibilities will include:

Manage the company's email systems including marketing campaigns and customer engagement/retention programs.
Optimize product positioning and value proposition of features to customers via active A/B and multivariate testing.
Generate and revise marketing copy and emails to merchants
Conduct empirical and statistical analysis as needed
Product Marketing Manager

The ideal candidate has:

3+ years experience in the consumer Internet space
BS/BA degree in marketing, business or computer science.
MBA a strong plus
A track record of driving results
Quantitative abilities to analyze opportunities, optimize feature design and monitor and analyze business results
Experience in managing email campaigns/systems a strong plus
Experience working in a small to medium sized Internet company
Experience working in a dynamic agile development environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Excellent judgment in making tradeoffs and finding simple solutions to complex problems
A can-do, roll-up-the sleeves attitude
