OSI is looking for an exceptionally talented technical lead engineer who will play a key role in architecture and design with our flagship NetExpert® and emerging Neon® product suite.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in OSS/NMS solutions, product life cycle, as well as Java/J2EE technical skills, must be team-oriented, be innovative, possess a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, be quality conscious, and have excellent communication and technical skills. The ability to work as part of a team within an agile process to deliver innovative solutions/products is essential to success in this position.

Technical Skills
1. C/C++, Java/J2EE : Hands on experience is must.
2. Oracle PL-SQL
3. OOAD, UML
4. CORBA
5. Clearcase/Mercurial (for source code control)
6. Strong experience in Solaris/Linux
7. Experience with Rational's Purify, Pure Coverage and Quantify
8. CORBA DSI and DII
9. JBOSS
10. JUnit
11. Regular expressions
12. Scripting languages (sh, csh, perl, python, groovy etc.)
13. Experience with 4th GL interpreted languages and/or Telecom Protocols
PERSONAL
• Demonstrated strong initiative, ownership, communication and teamwork skills
• Demonstrated technical leadership skills
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Demonstrated strong English language skills both verbal and written
Desirable
• Experience with User Interfaces and Designs
• Experience with Rational's ClearCase revision control system
• Experience writing XML processing applications in several
programming languages

• Client Side Architecture

• Agile/Scrum development practices
• JIRA
• Experience developing and debugging multi-threaded Java applications.
• Experience using Java class loaders and reflection to load plug-able components.
Academic Qualifications: BS in Computer Science or Equivalent
Experience: Over 6 years on Software Development with 3+ yrs of experience in architecture/design of OSS products.
