A company that build infrastructure of Data Center is hiring a range of experience levels and desired skill sets, but all development positions require strong cross platform (server side) C++ development skills and an interest in automations and systems management in the virtual datacenter.
Basic skill requirements.
- Proven ability to develop high quality, multi-threaded system software in C++ on Linux
- Solid communication skills and a team-orientation
- Flexibility and comfort with multi-tasking
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- No H1B – depends on how much time left on Visa (4-5 years ok)
Desired skills
- Familiarity with leading server hypervisors including VMware vSphere, open source Xen, Citrix XenServer, Red Hat KVM or Microsoft Hyper-V
- Familiarity with hypervisor management tools such as VMware vCenter Server, Citrix Xen Essentials or microsoft's Virtual Machine Manager
- Familiarity with Amazon EC2
- Developing Software utilizing at least one of the above hypervisor APIs
- Developing web services (both server and client side)
- Experience with Axis2/C or WSO2's WSF for C/C++
- Developing REST-based services
- Development of Flex-based user interface
- Developing tools for interacting with the Windows registry
- Developing high quality, multi-threaded system software in C++ on Windows
- Experience in managing virtual infrastructure
- Experience developing data center automation tools
- Experience creating best practices in development, release management and testing
- Hands-on support of alpha and beta customers
- Creating and managing test plans
