PRODUCT MANAGER
Adap.tv is seeking a talented and experienced product manager to help build the world´s largest and most advanced platform for video advertising. The Adap.tv product team is a small group of smart, creative, and disciplined professionals that guide the company to build innovative, usable, and industry-transforming applications. We employ an iterative process that involves input from management and business owners on strategy and priorities, feedback from external and internal customers on needs and usability, and tight collaboration with engineers. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Rapidly formulate concrete application/feature/enhancement specifications that address needs and requirements expressed by business owners and customers. Application designs should be simple, minimal, consistent with existing functionality, and highly usable.
• Elicit input from customers, business owners, and company management, about product needs and requirements.
• Communicate concrete proposals back to management, business owners, and customers in repeated, rapid iterations to achieve alignment around the final specifications.
• Quickly become expert in major industry technologies, companies, and terminology.
• Evangelize, train, and produce clear documentation on new product functionality for internal and external customers.
• Assume ownership of product roadmap for significant portion of the application over time.
REQUIREMENTS
• Exceptional and demonstrable problem-solving and design capabilities
• Strong technical training: BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or other technical field from top university
• 5+ years as a product manager with experience owning a complex web application
• Experience collaborating with diverse cross-functional groups to solve problems
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with online advertising or online video preferred, not required
