Cloud Solutions Program Manager
Preferred Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Optional Location: Round Rock, TX

Dell is hiring an experienced program manager within Dell's Global SMB Solutions organization. In this role, you will coordinate and manage Cloud based, SaaS projects driven by Global SMB Solutions, working closely with other Dell Product Groups, segments, and functions. Your role will also include providing leadership within the Global SMB organization on FY and long range planning, operational reviews and analysis, and tasks required to manage and grow the business and team.

As part of the team, you will participate in products/solutions development through definition/requirements, planning, development, launch, and sustaining. You will work with sales and marketing teams to coordinate activities between Global SMB, other teams within Dell, and external partners.

The ideal candidate is a Program Manager with a proven track record of managing complex projects. You will have strong experience managing multiple concurrent and complex projects with multiple stakeholders. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills and will be a self-directed and independent worker who can also lead cross-functional and cross-organizational projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assembly and lead cross-functional teams and drive execution of plans to meet business objectives.
• Prepare and present, clear concise program updates and key phase exit deliverables to Senior Management
• Establish and manage program schedules. Identify key risks/mitigation plans and manage major risks and issues through effective contingency plans and proper escalations.
• Track progress, report status, and make necessary corrections to achieve program goals.
• Develop and implement long-term strategic planning objectives.
• Measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve.
• Manage solutions roadmap lifecycle: inventory existing capabilities, rationalize offers, validate position in light of competitive changes, measure performance of launched offers and develop required growth or exit strategies
Qualifications:
• Strong leadership, command, organization, planning and influence skills. Strong written/verbal communication and executive presentation skills. Strong business acumen. Drives for results.
• Experience and knowledge of SW product development lifecycle processes and management.
• Experience in SW program management including product/schedule, planning, and senior management interaction and leading broad cross-functional teams. SaaS program management experience a plus.
• Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment. Ability to present clear and concise information to senior management, cross-functional teams, internal and external customers. Ability to analyze, set priorities and solve complex problems. Ability to build effective teams. Ability to deal with ambiguity.
• Establishes strategic partnerships with internal organizations and external partners in order to provide product and service offerings to potential and existing clients; researches and understand alliance business needs to ensure that all needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Knowledgeable about business intelligence, data warehouse, data management technologies
• Experience in architecting business process workflows for mid-market solutions as well as familiarity of large scale enterprise systems.
• Creates superior relationships with senior level executives and influential stakeholders to sustain a long-term relationship.
• Leveraged to serve as coach/mentor and provide direction to others
• Understands Dell's new business model and translates actions to meet the business goals.
• Extensive experience in managing change and engaging team members
• Advanced facilitation and communication skills with executive presence.
• 10+ years of professional experience (8 years directly related to relevant product development or I/T).
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience working with customers in a sales, consulting, or support capacity a plus
• CPA and MIS background are preferred
• International, start-up and Fortune 500 experience preferred
