Virtualization is driving a tighter integration between the operating systems and the network equipment. OS orchestration, deployment and Operationalization are key components to any virtualization strategy
Futurewei Technologies/Huawei R&D is looking for exceptional employees with solid and demonstrated expertise in this area to help create and execute our technical direction and innovations that will ensure Huawei a leadership role in this very important opportunity space
Job Duties:
Leads, guides or consults on new or existing products
Drives new innovations from Concept to Productization
Engages customers to gather input into technology trends, product direction and opportunities for Futurewei Technologies/Huawei R&D
Facilitates alignment and collaboration with other groups working on Enterprise, Cloud and Telco service offerings
Works cross functionally across Enterprise R&D, China Development teams and other Futurewei Technologies/Huawei Development teams
Executes towards the vision for Enterprise Virtualization / OS´, driving products and architectural designs to meet the goals of Futurewei Technologies/Huawei Enterprise Virtualization / OS´ plans
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent college degree
9+ years of Operating System / Virtualization Technologies/Standards
Solid background and knowledge of Enterprise OS´, including trends, current status, etc
Demonstrated knowledge of Management and deployment in the Enterprise environment
Demonstrated knowledge of specific OS´ (eg: Windows Server / Active Directory / RedHat Linux / ESXi / XEN / Hyper-V)
Demonstrated business communication skills (Presentations / Document Writing / Etc)
Effective organization and project management skills
Prior management skills or applied experience in leading teams (local or remote)
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented work environment
