Position: QA Manager
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Job Responsibilities:
• Play a hands-on role in all the responsibilities, lead the team by example.
• Perform as QA Manager
• Manage and coach remote QA team.
• Plan and implement effective product testing schemes and tools
• Develop and improve QA best practices
• Track and produce bug trends, charts, and statistics
• Determine readiness to ship
• Ensure hiring with quality
• Perform as QA Architect
o Understand and contribute in product requirements, architecture and design
 To help design (and build) the product for testability.
 To create effective test strategy for testing the product.
• Test Automation
o Develop QA test automation framework
 To write automated tests and suites at GUI (web browser) and API level
Qualifications:
• MS or BS in Computer Science or related fields
• At least 10 years of experience in high-technology software company
o Previous experience as QA Manager or Lead, but with deep technical involvement in product design and implementation.
o OR: previous experience as QA Automation lead, but with desire to move into QA Management – having been mentored by a good QA Manager
o OR: Senior software engineer or architect with a deep appreciation for product quality, and has a strong interest in bringing quality practices to QA from a background of product and design experience - should have at least 2 years of experience working in a lead role in QA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in designing and creating testing and automation frameworks.
• Experience in managing and working with distributed teams.
• Willing to travel to India offices at least 3-4 times a year to mentor and work closely with remote teams
