Title: Technical Support Engineer

Smart Monitor is looking for technical and product support engineers with hands-on Engineering experience. The job involves:
- Product and technical support to internal product development teams
- Technical support to current customers
- Sales support for new customers
- Product testing, QA and diagnostics
Smart Monitor provides support via phone, email and/or travel to customer sites. The position includes demonstrating the product at tradeshows and to targeted user and advocacy groups.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Experience with embedded systems – TI & ARM processors, LINUX environment highly preferred
- Hands on experience with hardware and computer systems a must
- Must be willing to travel – 3-4 times a year to customer sites
- Self-starter that can come up to speed very quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 3 years of tech support experience in embedded systems preferred
