VP, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

Catalina is seeking a VP, Product Management to lead the development and implementation of cutting edge, data-driven ad tech products for Catalina's retailer and CPG customers. This is a great opportunity for a passionate product leader with experience in digital marketing technology and a desire to launch innovative ad tech solutions. The successful candidate possesses strategic thinking skills, a passion for product development and a proven background developing new products and scaling existing ones. The VP, Product Management drives the ad tech product lifecycle from initial idea through agile development and launch. This position requires an engaging, innovative and collaborative leadership approach. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to effectively work with other leaders across multiple functional areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

•Serves as the advocate for the customer to the development team; uses market, competitor and customer discovery research to develop products and enhancements that drive business outcomes for Catalina's customers.

•Leads product managers; oversees and directs all aspects of assigned products via Agile Product Development.

•Develops product vision, scope, roadmap and technical documentation and ensures they are fully communicated to internal teams.

•Develops user stories, participates in the agile development teams and engages sales and operations to ensure successful go-to-market execution.

•Maintains in-depth knowledge of digital media ecosystem and trends; acts as a subject matter expert and thought leader.

•Creates highly targeted and relevant communication platforms that strengthen relationships with customers, determines their business objectives and understands their technical needs while providing clients a proven ROI.

•Manages vendors including tracking progress, costs and technical gate keeping.

•Fosters cross-functional collaboration on product development and business performance by ensuring the roadmaps/strategies across product teams are aligned and achievable.

•Executes strategy, allocates resources effectively and balances financial planning and risk management.

•Develops and presents business cases to executive management. Prepares and presents R&D investment proposals and drives business planning.

•Participates in and supports sales engagements (providing content for training and sales materials in coordination with Marketing).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

•Bachelor's degree in related field required; MBA preferred.

•Minimum of ten years' product management experience, with a successful track record of designing, building and launching new products and scaling existing products in an Agile environment in the digital/mobile ad tech space.

•Minimum of three years' experience leading product teams in the digital/mobile ad tech space.

•Previous product management experience in one or more of the following areas highly desired: ad tech/bidding, financial/automated trading, consumer facing design (mobile) and/or start-up business environment.

•Possesses both a strategic mindset and the ability to be detail oriented with experience cultivating ideas into marketable products.

•Demonstrates strong customer focus with the ability to produce results in a fast paced and fluid business environment with competing priorities.

•Navigates effectively between being strategic and tactical as well as creative and disciplined; enjoys working at the big picture and detail levels.

•Exhibits creative problem solving and decision making skills, with a strong analytical thought process.

•Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and builds strong relationships across functions.

•Takes ownership and drives a sense of urgency; highly accountable.

•Demonstrates impeccable written oral communication skills.

•Inspires and drives consensus; proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

•Keeps abreast of online marketing industry trends, tactics, current events and user behavior
