Technical Product Manager, Cloud Solution (Sunnyvale, CA)
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager for a contract role at a global enterprise cloud solutions provider. The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for working with the engineering team and developing new product requirements for enhancements/new products for a cloud portal solution.
This is a 40 hour per week; 6 month contract role (extensions possible) in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with peer Cloud portal product managers to define product strategy
• Collaborate closely with technology teams to provide clear direction on Agile product backlog, epic and user story requirements, and feature delivery
• Describe and write product requirements through personas and use case development
• Communicate key product benefits to internal teams, prospects and customers
Requirements:
• 5+ years of prior experience as a Technical Product Manager or a Technical Marketing Engineer in networking or cloud solutions.
• A first-hand working knowledge of current data networking products and technologies, including Ethernet networking, IP, BGP routing, peering, firewalls, NAT, etc.
• Trained in Agile development methodology with experience as product owner/backlog owner
• Proven experience in setting direction for technology teams, prioritizing development activities, and driving new product development investments in an organization using Agile methodologies
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical abilities and an extreme attention to detail and ability to self-audit work
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills.
• BS in engineering, computer science or related technical field (or equivalent)
