Sales Engineer

Our client is a thriving electronics manufacturer innovating new technologies for state of the art equipment in areas of mobile communications, networking, power solutions, smart home technologies, automotive electronics and much more. Because of our client's significant investment in R&D, they are consistently a leader in new technologies year after year.
The Sales Engineer position is responsible for identifying sales opportunities and strategizing designing-in products for customers. This position develops product promotion strategies maximizing sales opportunities, as well as educates customers regarding company product capabilities to maximize customer awareness.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and a knowledge of the electronics industry and products.
Requires 2+ years of component sales experience and 2+ years of strategic experience selling a diverse product line – components, modules, power supplies, etc.
Must be proficient in Salesforce.com (or similar, CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired, but not required is experience in automotive passive or active component sales, and previous manufacturing technical sales experience. Also desirable is experience using Microsoft SharePoint.
Daily local travel, some domestic travel (three to four nights quarterly,) and infrequent international.
Compensation: Base Salary is $85k-$98k, plus up to 40% bonus paid out semi-annually.
Must be approved to work in US.
