Java Test Engineer needed for a long term direct client project. Client is public, growing and stable.
** Local candidates with Local Experience preferred due to in person interviewing. (Local = San Francisco Bay Area) **
Responsibilities:
Contribute to QE projects for eCommerce Applications. Java Testing for managing/testing large distributed internet applications. Part of a QA Development Team.
Requirements:
- Core Java software engineering understanding.
- Must have excellent Java programming/coding skills and experience.
- Expertise in java test tool development for Internet/Web applications and Services using Junit across various operating systems.
- Python & Perl experience is a plus
- Ability to differentiate what is a critical risk when a feature is changed.
- Solid communication skills.
- Knowledge of the following:
- Services Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Web Services
- Multi Threading
- Multi DataCenters
- Databases (Structured vs Unstructured)
- Messaging Queues
- Caching
- Memory Fragmentation
