Encore Fellowships provide paid, transitional engagements in non profit organizations for those typically 50+, considering retirement, with 20 plus years professional experience, who wish to move to the nonprofit sector. Fellowships are 1000 hours, typically part-time for a year, and include a $25,000 stipend for the hours.
If you have skills in IT, a nonprofit needs your strategic and operational talent. A large food bank in San Jose needs a System Administrator to manage the IT Help desk, document processes, manage vendors, manage assets and more, and a Help Desk Technician to work with end-users.
