[KITlist-Tech] SaaS Product Marketing Manager (San Jose, CA)

We are looking for a Software/SaaS Product Marketing Manager for an ongoing contractor role within the services organization of a global high technology leader. The Product Marketing manager needs to have a strong background in SaaS product marketing with excellent skills in messaging and positioning products. The ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. Role entails working with Product Management, outbound marketing. field sales organizations and other stakeholders to create positioning documents and sales tools to accelerate adoption of new SaaS/service solutions in B2B markets.

This is a 40 hour per week role onsite in at the client's offices in San Jose, as a w-2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. This is an ongoing contract opportunity, with quarterly contracts.

Responsibilities
� Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the products in the market and highlights the value to customers
� Sales enablement - communicate the value proposition of the products to customers and the sales team
� Develop sales tools and marketing collateral, such as white papers, presentations, case studies and ROI calculators
� Support sales efforts with customers and partners

Requirements
� 5+ years of software product marketing experience with enterprise software and/or service products for enterprise markets
� Very strong written communication skills
� Ability to collect requirements, size effort and deliver on schedule
� Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, peers in cross-functional teams, and third parties.
� BS degree

[KITlist-Tech] File - Subscription Tips to Post, Subscribe, Unsubscribe

I've compiled a few "tips and tricks" on using the KITlist-Tech group with the hopes that this information will eliminate direct mail to the moderators with these questions. Please read through these instructions.

The best way to use Yahoo groups is via the Yahoo groups website. By doing so, this allows you to change your email preferences from individual emails, to daily digest, to no email at all. Here's how:

Go to:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KITlist-Tech/

If you're not already a member, you'll join here. This allows you to then edit your membership and indicate your email preferences. Also, you can read all job postings via the website, respond directly to posts without having to decipher a cut-off email address, and peruse archived messages.

Of course, you can also subscribe by sending an email to:

KITlist-Tech-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

And you can unsubscribe by sending an email from the address you subscribed with to:

KITlist-Tech-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com

[KITlist-Tech] File - Tell a Friend! Plus, tips to manage KIT Email Volume

Hello Everyone,

We've grown to over 71,000 members just by word-of-mouth by friends helping friends find great jobs.

I really appreciate all the support and the amazing people in this special community!

In order to have enough great jobs for everyone, we need you to tell employers and recruiters about the KIT List so we can get everyone back to work (or into new jobs) faster. The power of friends helping friends is the whole spirit of the KIT List!

KIT LIST TIPS:

This is the monthly reminder to let you know that if the volume of KIT emails is getting too much for your system, here are three options to help you manage them:

1. Direct all KIT emails to a special folder:

Some email systems allow you to create separate folders within your in-box. Create a KIT List folder and then create an email filter that will direct any emails with the word "KIT" in the subject line into that folder.

2. Have your emails grouped into one (or more) KIT email per day:

You can choose "Daily Digest" on your YahooGroups email preferences so that instead of getting individual emails. About twenty individual emails are then combined into one. Depending on the email volume for the day, you may receive more than one digest email.

Go to the KIT List home page on Yahoo Groups at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KITlist-Tech/

Go to the "Edit Membership" link near the top of the page right above the blue bar saying "Sue Connelly's Keep In Touch List." Under Step 2, choose "Daily Digest" in the "Message Delivery" section. Hit the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page, and you should be all set.

3. Stop all KIT emails and view jobs via the Web:

Go to the KIT List home page on Yahoo Groups at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KITlist-Tech/

Go to the "Edit Membership" link near the top of the page right above the blue bar saying "Sue Connelly's Keep In Touch List." Then go under "Message Delivery" and choose "Special Notices." Be sure to choose "Special Notices" since we do occasionally send out important messages from the moderators. Then hit the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.

Also, please let us know if you get a job or candidate from the KIT List, it means a lot to us (Amy, Kelly and me) to hear how it's working for you!

Requirements:
We have multiple openings and can accommodate mid to principal level expertise.
Years of experience, depth of technical contribution/involvement and level of responsibility to date will dictate position level and title.
We are a Java, XML environment, but we are more interested in attracting "smart�, creative and accomplished professionals vs. rigid requirements such as specified years of experience or technology specific languages or tools.
The ideal candidate would have experience in the development and delivery of enterprise software as a commercial application with both back and front end development experience/involvement
The ideal candidate will be able to design and implement new functionality based on high level requirements.
The ideal candidate would prefer a small company, small team, collaborative environment with high visibility and a wider area of responsibility.
BSCS or equivalent required.

Embedded Linux Engineer (802.11)
OTM is seeking a Sr. Embedded S/W Engineer to help contribute to the development of software for all embedded platforms for a Client Company. The Engineer should have a wide range of experience and related knowledge in areas that encompass Enterprise Wireless, switching and routing features (L2 and above), functions and operating systems. Experience should include development for both wired and wireless products. They should have extensive knowledge and experience with programming in a Linux O/S environment.

Responsibilities:
�Participate as an active software development engineer in the software team
�Responsible for defining the implementation of sustaining/features on the Array OS (AOS)
�Responsible for development of WIFI standards to support specific features on the Company's Array

Requirements:
�BS in Computer Science or related
�5+ years of experience
�Deep knowledge of Linux kernel internals, especially network stack, modules, and debugging
�Experience with WiFi protocols, specifically 802.11
�Strong experience with L2/L3 protocols
�OS development - device drivers, input/output controls and pipes and user space apps including kernel interfaces
�Knowledge of Multi-CPU, multithreaded architectures and real time systems
�Strong C/C++ development skills
�Strong verbal and written communication skills
�Previous experience developing software for embedded networking products

Preferred:
�Experience cross compiling Linux Kernel for multiple platforms
�Solid knowledge of CPU architecture and IO subsystem such as PCI/PCIe
�Experience with Cavium Octeon CPU
�Familiarity with SCM (git)
