CITRIX ADMIN

Educational: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. The minimum level of experience is at least ten years working within the IT discipline, and at least five years experience supporting Windows based and Citrix technologies.

>> 2. General Experience: Ten (10) years supporting Windows NT/2003 servers and five years supporting Citrix and various web technologies. Must have provided progressive, hands on technical and development support activities associated with data migration and hosting consolidation into an Enterprise Hosting Environment.

>> 3. Specialized Experience:

>> · Demonstrated working knowledge of the Single Procurement System (SPS) architecture including Windows OS, Citrix, EDA, and Sybase Database Server.

>> · Demonstrated high level competence in the area of root cause analysis, database problem solving, and proactive monitoring.

>> · Demonstrated working knowledge of the SPS application functionality to isolate application issues from system issues.

>> · Hands on familiarity with duties and responsibilities of SPS functional system administrators.

>> · Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in developing, planning, installing, upgrading, and maintaining Windows 2003, Citrix and SPS applications.

>> · Ability to work effectively with team/others and share knowledge to ensure team success.

>> · Hands on familiarity with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) procedures to facilitate the delivery of high quality information technology services.

>> 4. Job Description: Provide primary management of the hardware and software configuration of all Windows based servers supporting the SPS application. Is responsible for the installation, maintenance and operation of the application and databases supporting the SPS application. Provide operations and maintenance support for SPS suite of hardware and software ensuring highest degree of availability. Ensure applications services are available and functioning; troubleshoot and resolve existing and new application server service issues; establish and maintain back and recovery procedures; research and install critical security updates; provide technical support for both planned and unplanned callback. Provide development services to provide administrative tools and/or automate business processes within the application server technical environment.
