Position Title: Computer Operations Support-3
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: 3+ Months
Start: ASAP
Interview: Phone to Onsite
Max Pay Rate: DOE

Monitor and respond to systems in a centralized environment, responsible for setting up, coordinating, and monitoring the operation of computer equipment. May involve verifying data and performing clerical tasks in the data processing function. Examines, revises, approves and dispatches input and output materials according to established procedures. Using established programs and procedures, manipulates controls in accordance with standard procedures, runs diagnostic tests to detect machine malfunctions, and monitors control panels, magnetic tape units, and other peripheral equipment. Reports any observed deviations from standard performance. These positions will work the off shift(s) – either 2nd or 3rd shift.

Shifts:
2nd: 2:30pm – 12:30am
3rd: 10:30pm – 8:30am

Must be available to work weekends and/or Holiday's
Ideal Skills (a plus but not a must):
• Remedy
• BMC Control-M
• HP OMW Monitoring
• iSeries Computer Operations experience
• MIR3
• MS Office
• Customer Service

Minimum Requirements – A Must
2+ years computer operations support experience
Excellent C/S skills

Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Certifications/Licensure

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry 20-50 pounds
