Database Marketing Analyst
We're looking for a marketing analyst for a 40 hour a week contract (likely 6+ months) with a Fortune 500 software company in San Jose.
The role is heavily focused on email and database analytics, and they are looking for someone who has the ability to up-level data into useable business trends/proactive info to help team stay ahead of the market.
Qualification/Experience
• Must have advanced to expert knowledge of accepted customer relationship / database marketing best practices—5-7 years of experience in database marketing using sophisticated database management and market intelligence software to build customer profiles/segmentation, mine the customer database to create actionable insights / reporting and optimize ongoing programs.
• Ability to speak the language of Marketing, Sales and IT in order to translate requirements and manage the analysis and reporting from a strategic perspective.
• Proficient with MS Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with SQL or other relational database tools required
• Experience with Business Objects or other business intelligence tools a plus
• Able to work under demanding timeline
