The timing is right to join this fast growth SAAS software company. Our client is a smaller, established software company that is hitting their stride and experiencing explosive growth. This is a right place at the right time scenario. Their proven offerings are ones being used by numerous Fortune 1000 organizations. As a result of their ongoing expansion we are seeking proven pre-sales professionals with recent experience with logistics management/transportation management software for this exciting opportunity:
Position title: Pre-Sales Consultant
Location: Anywhere in the U.S.
Position description:
Provides hands-on pre-sales support for prospects. Such support to include presentations, demonstrations, site visits to support evaluation projects, telephone guidance for installing and using the product. All of these activities are to be in close cooperation with the sales person for each account so as to progress toward the business "close" expeditiously.
Presents and demonstrates product at various seminars and trade show venues. Provides similar support for technical and financial analyst meetings and press editorial meetings.
Builds presentations and effective, efficient demonstrations to be used by others in the sales organization.
Provides technical sales liaison with other departments. Remain current with the product functions and features.
Assist with RFP/RFQ requests.
Required skills/experience:
5-10 years application software industry pre-sales experience, specifically with SAAS offerings.
Experience selling logistics management and/or transportation management software offerings
Hands-on experience doing proof-of-concepts
Proven ability to work with the sales team during all aspects of a sales cycle to help close large opportunities.
Ability to represent the company in a professional manner in all customer interactions.
Travel is required.
