Job Title: Warehouse Associate
For: Ecumenical Hunger Program (http://www.ehpcares.org)
Reports to: Warehouse Operations Supervisor
Position Status Non-Exempt
Warehouse Associate = $15-$16/hr
Position Summary:
Employee is responsible for receiving donations, organizing and keeping warehouse clean.
Annually distribute over 1200 furniture items and serve over 400 families per month with clothing, furniture and household goods. Promote EHP's values of

with particular emphasis on compassion, respect, integrity and teamwork.
Primary Responsibilities
Employee is responsible for assisting in receiving, sorting and distributing donated items
1. Sort, organize and arrange donated items.
2. Receive incoming donations and ensure timely distribution of goods
3. Maintain a clean and professional atmosphere
4. Assistant with calling clients and other warehouse desk duties as needed
Note: In addition to the primary duties, other duties (i.e., program assistance) will be required. The job description shall not be construed as a contract and is not a complete list of all miscellaneous, incidental or other duties which may be assigned during normal operations. Overtime will be required during certain times of the year.
Required Skills/Experience
1. Able to work with wide variety of families with care and respect.
2. Experience and ability in supervising small and large groups of volunteers.
3. Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
4. Able to stand for long periods of time
5. Able to perform repetitive tasks
6. Excellent verbal and written skills
7. Other assigned tasks as directed
