Channel Impact is seeking an experienced and ideally Certified Project Manager (CPM) to develop and manage project plans in support of our client's launch of several software-focused programs. In addition to extensive project management experience, the ideal candidate must know Smartsheets, be extremely organized, and can confidently interface with all levels of leadership.
The right candidate must also be process-driven, have the ability to wear multiple hats, and can provide strategic input so the client can evaluate priorities, understand progress, issues and challenges, and know when to escalate.
This is a full-time W2 opportunity at Channel Impact and requires being onsite at the client in San Jose, CA.
Primary Responsibilities:
Project manage the client's work streams with cross-functional teams.
Work with the client's theater leaders to document, track and update their local launch plans.
Conduct 1:1 interviews with key stakeholders from the client to develop the initial project plan, to track. each of the functional work streams in SmartSheets.
Continually track the project status including: ownership, delivery dates, budget, milestones, scope-creep, and risk.
Use tools effectively to drive efficiency in operations.
Identify and implement process improvements.
Provide client with a weekly Executive Summary Report detailing the status of each work stream.
Qualifications:
5+ years of Project Management experience (certification is a ++).
Advanced/expert Smartsheets skills (certification is a +).
BA or BS (required).
Practical work experience with waterfall and agile development methodologies.
Organized and detail-oriented, with a high level of integrity and reliability.
Self-motivated, resourceful, takes initiative, incredibly organized and responsive.
Proven track record for developing and documenting process improvements.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with proven ability to influence at all levels.
Exceptional team player with the ability to develop and foster cross-functional relationships, willing to go the extra mile when needed.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding written communications and also time management skills.
Consistent follow-through and accountable on projects, does not get easily frazzled.
Straightforward and clear communicator, able to write, present, and speak for action.
Customer service, super positive, "can-do" attitude.
