Envision Technology Marketing Group, Inc., (ETMG) is seeking a Web Project Manager for a client in Sunnyvale, CA. This person will be responsible for managing the production process for the client web site. This includes the development process, prioritization, build release schedules and QA process of all Web activities. He or she will need to evaluate, author and execute business requirements from various stakeholders and manage production requests across internal and external 3rd party development/agency teams while keeping multiple release schedules moving forward. In addition, this role requires training and/or communication to the client's global teams post release.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment, respond quickly to changing business needs/timelines, and maintain relentless attention to detail to manage and drive production releases on time.
Responsibilities:
•Manage our 150+ JIRA intake queue of all web activities
•Partner with creative and/or developer team to convert stakeholder requests into actionable enhancements
•Drive the QA process across all development cycles, pre and post build, to ensure quality and consistency across the site
•Coordinate priorities with global 24/7 publishing teams
•Assist with tracking and publishing management of ongoing localization activities
•Manage documentation of processes, style guides, workflows, SLAs and QA
•Build agendas to drive and track activities across various weekly interlock meetings
•Develop full project plans including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, roles and responsibilities and must have the tenacity to drive projects to completion
•Must be able to translate business and technical concepts into functional specifications
•Own and prioritize development needs for web marketing team which includes creating/managing stories, backlog, and facilitating backlog grooming, sprint planning and kick-offs
•Conduct user acceptance testing, maintain release notes and training documentation
•Manage offshore content authoring team and facilitate stand-ups
•Drive and PM occasional non-dev team projects in support of larger organizational goals
Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree with minimum 7 years of work experience in web experience and/or digital marketing
•Working knowledge of web CMS (AEM), JIRA, and SCRUM methods to manage projects
•Able to successfully manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects
•Mature, self-starter, determined, entrepreneurial spirit, capable of working independently
•Ability to complete tasks and follow-up activities, consistently meets deadlines, and strive to exceed expectations with minimal supervision
•Attention to detail; takes pride in work; and aspires to maintain continual personal and professional growth
•Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills
This is a long term, hourly project, renewed quarterly. This is a virtual position.
