Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Partners with users to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures which are cost effective and meet user requirements. May plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

Scrum experience and FIT & fitnesse experience is a Must, candidates will not be considered if they do not have this skill set.
Candidate must have experience using FIT concepts to write executable specifications in a Scrum environment'. Experience in established and using Fitnesse is required."

1. Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors.
2. Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems.
3. Works independently with clients to identify and clarify very complex business requirements. Interviews clients, formulates business profile, collaborates with business technicians to research existing business and system processes, plans and conducts requirements definition sessions, captures business requirements and develops proposed statement of work.
4. Collaborates with architects to propose system solutions, and estimate high level costs.
5. Presents findings to clients and to project teams.
6. Consults with project teams during project implementation.
7. Responsible for the development for specific marketing plans and activities for specific product(s), product line(s) to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena.
8. Develops business plans, customer needs.
9. Establishes pricing strategies.
10. Interfaces with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to develop new products or enhance existing product(s) or product lines(s).
11. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained plans and product positioning in the marketplace.
12. Manager customer accounts through release cycle into Beta
13. Establish CAB for projects.
14. Use case modeling experience
15. UML understanding and knowledge a must

MBA preferred in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
Excellent writing skills; thorough knowledge of company products; technical background, and analytical skills
7-9 years of sr. BA experience OR
4-6 yrs of Sr. BA
1-2 Product Manager experience

ELECTRONIC TRADING SYSTEMS SOFTWARE ENGINEER C++, C# - CLIENT FACING

Our client is a leading international company with a portfolio and risk management software solution that
has become the industry standard for the equity derivatives market.

This role will help clients utilize their SDK API toolkit. You will run presentations and provide training on the Toolkit and APIs, which will allow them to customize applications. You will create and implement bespoke valuation models, to adapt the application to new financial products, to define new scenarios and workflow actions, to build WebService based interfaces and modify the SQL/XML datamodel.

You will also create and modify new GUIs (C++, C#, XAML) and work closely with clients' development teams, Quants and direct users - including traders and heads of trading.

Typical custom APIs allow:
Data Modeling involving data structure modification and GUI customization
Valuation links to external pricing libraries.
Integration of specific data feeds, customization of existing market/static data feeds
Creation of specific reports, customization of existing reports
Web development platform to build web (light & rich) clients

MS-level graduate in a scientific or engineering subject with a minimum 3 to 5 years' work experience in
a financial services environment. Previous experience of applied mathematical finance as well as experience in XML, SOA/WebServices and of developing commercial C++ / C# projects is essential.

Other Information:
Travel – within NYC area as required
US Citizen or Green Card holder only – no visa sponsorship
Local Candidates only
Most development work is performed in the office but this role does require consulting and working with
customers at their location
3-5 years commercial software development experienced is a requirement
Masters level academics in Engineering or Financial Engineering is required in order to understand the
complex models underpinning the software

Required Skills:

To help sustain and accelerate this growth, they are looking for a Principal-level Embedded Networking Software Engineer to drive next generation features and architecture in our embedded WLAN software architecture.
In this role, you will be part of the WLAN Software team in Sunnyvale, CA.

Specific Duties include:

Develop WLAN protocols, features, control plane communication and data plane features.
Extend and enhance our device driver interfaces across one or more OSes.
Contribute to the ongoing architecture and evolution of our software components.
Plan, execute and lead software feature changes in areas like instrumentation and debugging to make the whole team more productive.
Occasionally work with Standards groups to secure our strategic interest in WLAN.
Working with customers to understand requirements, aligning direction and interests, providing technical leadership, innovating beyond the basic needs to generate differentiating and sticky IP.

Required Skills:

BS degree and 14 years, or an MS and 10 years or a PhD and 8 years of experience in embedded software development.
10+ years embedded systems C programming in networking systems and protocols.
Rock solid knowledge of L2 and L3 protocols (DHCP, ARP, TCP, NAT, Bridging, Routing, etc.)
5 years experience implementing complex embedded systems with either embedded CPU or redundant control processors.
5 years kernel/driver experience in Linux, NetBSD or embedded OSes is required.
Deep knowledge of OS interfaces, kernel data structures, performance tuning.
Experience on power saving techniques for embedded devices is highly desired
Must have experience with chip and board bringup, and hardware issues.
Prior experience with ARM, MIPS or other micro processor architecture and tools is required.
Some (5-10%) domestic or international travel may be required.

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of common industry standard buses including UART, SPI, SDIO PCI and USB.

In this role, you will be part of the WLAN Software development team in Sunnyvale, initially reporting directly to the Sr Director of software development.

Specific Duties include:
Architect an automated smoketest solution, leveraging existing WLAN automated build and test infrastructure as much as makes sense.
Build and deploy testbeds for all active access point and station platforms.
Define and deploy a methodology for quickly and conveniently reporting results to developers, enabling them to troubleshoot failures immediately.
Create a process by which developers can incorporate additional testcases into the solution.

Required Skills:

BS (MSCS preferred) or equivalent engineering degree is required.
Minimum of 10+ years of software development, scripting/tools/testing/automation and networking lab operation.
Must have deep knowledge of IP networking at both layer 2 and layer 3 (8 years).
Must have strong test automation experience in C, TCL, Perl or Python (6 years).
Must be reasonably fluent with C programming (3 years).(read and write c programs from time to time, but not hard core sustained coding required)
Must have at least 2 years each working under Windows and Linux OS´s.
Must have operating knowledge of WLAN devices like access points and mobile computers (3 years).
Must have proven experience building and operating complex networking labs (5 years).
