ELECTRONIC TRADING SYSTEMS SOFTWARE ENGINEER C++, C# - CLIENT FACING
Our client is a leading international company with a portfolio and risk management software solution that
has become the industry standard for the equity derivatives market.
This role will help clients utilize their SDK API toolkit. You will run presentations and provide training on the Toolkit and APIs, which will allow them to customize applications. You will create and implement bespoke valuation models, to adapt the application to new financial products, to define new scenarios and workflow actions, to build WebService based interfaces and modify the SQL/XML datamodel.
You will also create and modify new GUIs (C++, C#, XAML) and work closely with clients' development teams, Quants and direct users - including traders and heads of trading.
Typical custom APIs allow:
Data Modeling involving data structure modification and GUI customization
Valuation links to external pricing libraries.
Integration of specific data feeds, customization of existing market/static data feeds
Creation of specific reports, customization of existing reports
Web development platform to build web (light & rich) clients
MS-level graduate in a scientific or engineering subject with a minimum 3 to 5 years' work experience in
a financial services environment. Previous experience of applied mathematical finance as well as experience in XML, SOA/WebServices and of developing commercial C++ / C# projects is essential.

Travel – within NYC area as required
US Citizen or Green Card holder only – no visa sponsorship
Local Candidates only
Most development work is performed in the office but this role does require consulting and working with
customers at their location
3-5 years commercial software development experienced is a requirement
Masters level academics in Engineering or Financial Engineering is required in order to understand the
complex models underpinning the software
