Our client is a global science and technology leader in the manufacturing and distribution of analytical instruments, test kits and reagents for testing the quality of water and air.<br /><br /> The Global Product Marketing Manager is a hybrid role of product management and product marketing responsibilities. This position is responsible for the growth, new product funnel, and profitability goals of a laboratory and portable turbidity products. This is a great opportunity to manage the strategic marketing plan for both legacy profitable products and new products.<br /><br /> - Develop a strategy for the Product Group.<br /><br /> - Prioritize New Product Development (NPD) projects within the portfolio.<br /><br /> - Influences key stakeholders and leaders throughout the business to adopt strategy and gather necessary resources for delivery of strategic plan.<br /><br /> - Growth<br /><br /> - Develop and deploy commercial plans for the global organization focusing on the regional needs of customers.<br /><br /> - Analyze revenue and profit performance of the Product Group in liaison with regional commercial support.<br /><br /> - Work with regional sales to identify product needs to develop countermeasures to increase sales in the region.<br /><br /> - Drive promotional and web activities through the regional marketing organizations to ensure products are properly represented and positioned.<br /><br /> - Recommend pricing and marketing activities for their product portfolio.<br /><br /> - Own Key Performance Indicator (KPI) revenue and profitability targets, including, driving to root cause, creating countermeasures and action plans to ensure success.<br /><br /> - Lead competitive analysis and research.<br /><br /> - New Product Development<br /><br /> - Drive the product commercialization strategy of a breakthrough new product.<br /><br /> - Lead the creation and execution of continuous Voice of the Customer (VOC) plans.<br /><br /> - Develop comprehensive business cases including financials and VOC that supports the development of a new product.<br /><br /> - Coordinate product development needs<br /><br /> Requirements:<br /><br /> - Bachelor's degree in a chemistry or business field; MBA preferred<br /><br /> - 2+ years of product management experience; product marketing experience preferrede<br /><br /> - Experience in large, global instrumentation organization is a plus<br /><br /> - Knowledge of water analysis is helpful, but not required<br /><br /> - Able to empathize with customers, translating needs into products.<br /><br /> - Basic understanding of classical marketing, including 4Ps, marketing mix, product WOWs, demand creation plans<br /><br /> - Basic understanding of product financial analysis, including product pricing, product costing, gross margin, inventory value, and inventory turns<br /><br /> - Basic understanding of customer segments and product applications of product portfolios including understanding of impactful trends<br /><br /> Send your resume to to recruiting@280group.com<br /><br />
