POSITION SUMMARY

LightCyber is quickly rising to lead the new frontier of security in solving the crisis of targeted data breaches facing companies and organizations around the world. We have pioneered Active Breach Detection to shift more focus from exclusively preventative security to detection. Gartner predicts that 60% of security spending will shift from prevention to "rapid detection and response" by 2019. Join our growing team at the ground floor. We are seeking a hands-on technical marketing engineer that likes to get deep and learn interesting and innovative technology. This individual will create content and tools to enable and train our growing sales teams and partner community.

The candidate should be knowledgeable about all technologies, including but not limited to cyber security, networking, Linux, Windows, and penetration testing tools like Metasploit. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Help drive LightCyber's growth by developing collateral and creating technical and product training.

Create and manage sales enablement materials, including and not limited to whitepapers, presentations, or videos.

- Work closely with the Field organization to support customers throughout the pre-sales process, and to understand the needs of LightCyber Sales and Sales Engineers.

- Contribute to other Marketing initiatives for LightCyber as we show the world that our technology can change how active breaches are detected and Security Analysts investigate them.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Demonstrate a passion for cyber-security, technologies and solutions

- Knowledgeable about networking, security operations, Windows and Linux operating systems

- Comfortable writing technical documents and presenting in front of various customers, both technical and non-technical

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

- Prior experience as a marketing engineer, sales engineer, support engineer, security analyst, or consultant in a professional services organization

- Prior experience with Metasploit or other open source penetration and testing tools is preferred

- Prior experience writing or creating externally consumed technical collateral, such as training presentations, technical documentation, or configuration guides
