Technical Training Curriculum Developer (San Ramon, CA)
We are looking for a Technical Training Curriculum Developer for a newly launched IoT Platform. The Technical Training Curriculum Developer will be responsible developing technical training materials (live, virtual, case studies, activities) and coordinating training sessions and maintaining the training calendar. Some training instruction may also be required.
This is a 40 hours per week; 6 month contract (extensions possible) onsite at the client's offices in San Ramon, CA. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered.
Responsibilities:
• Using a wide variety of media, develop course content that is very modular, engaging, and easy to complete. Training audience is developers.
• Manage training webinars, remote Q&A boards, launch polls, capture discussion board content, and quickly troubleshoot issues
• Re-purpose content captured during live events. Collect videos, case study work, and student activities. Do post-production work to get materials ready to re-launch on-demand.
• Partner with the Training Coordinator to set up courses, track and manage registrations and communicate status to instructors
• Maintain an online training calendar of events. Monitor and recommend website improvements
• Potentially, teach training during live classes (classroom/webinars) virtual training labs
Requirements:
• 2+ years curriculum development/instructional design experience for a high tech product
• Experience with training development and delivery tools: Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate, Adobe, HTML, TinCan, MS Office
• Preferred, knowledge of teaching technologies using Java, C++, Java Script; work with programmers to articulate training needs
• Experience gathering and analyzing qualitative and quantitative feedback
• Aptitude for quickly learning new technologies
• Capable of working independently as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines
• Bachelor's Degree
