Field Applications Engineer
Our International wireless/semiconductor client is searching for a "Field Applications Engineer" to work with existing application engineering team to provide technical solutions during design-in and post-sales of customer relationship.
Our client is thriving – growing double digits over past years and offers solutions that enable people, vehicles and machines to locate exact position and wirelessly communication via voice, text or video.
Compensation: Base salary is open. Pays bonus, which is essentially a commission and is paid at the end of each fiscal year. For the past few years it has been paying 30% bonus. Additionally offers 15 days of vacation, 5 days sick leave, 12 days holidays, stock options (3 years vesting period), 100% health insurance paid (incl. LTD, STD, Dental, Vision, Life).
This position works out of your home office and reports to Technical Manager on east coast.
Looking for a professional able to help customers utilize capabilities of GNSS, short range, and cellular wireless products. Work closely with the sales team to close new business opportunities, and resolve technical issues in customer products.
Requires Bachelor/Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of working experience in mixed signal (RF/Digital) board level design. Must have knowledge of GNSS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSPA, CDMA, and LTE modules and chips.
