Wieson America is looking for a Field Application Engineer located in San Jose, California. The qualified candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Wieson's distributing accounts and direct customers.
Responsibility:
* Become familiar with Wieson's cable and connector products and develop application knowledge
* Conduct regular customer visit (mostly domestic) to provide direct engineering support and build customer relationships
* Coordinate remotely the internal activities required for manufacturing production. Interface across different departments including overseas production site, PM, Sales, design engineers, and all level of resources to win design-in opportunities and resolve technical issues.
* Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills for both internal and external customer base.
Qualifications:
* Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin. Bilingual in English and Chinese.
* Experience with 3D and 2D Drafting
* Self-motivated; team and results oriented; willing to learn
* Experience with stamping and injection tooling is a Plus
* Experience with cables connector business is a Plus
* Experience working with remote personnel and manufacturing facilities located in Taiwan and China is a Plus
* BSME or BSEE
* New grads are welcome
