One of The Sage Group's clients is looking for a Technical Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for marketing and client interfacing to effectively displaying new technology around audio/Visual technologies. You will play a key player in our customer and partner success within the client Video Collaboration Go-to-Market Team and help the team achieve our rapid growth objectives for the Video Collaboration business. You will engage with our sales teams, customers and partners to help them integrate client products into their solutions and help with product deployments.
Location: Newark CA
Duration: 6+ months, to potential contract to hire
Responsibilities:
-Engage with key ecosystem partners.
-Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams on technical issues, requirements and solutions
-Assist with technical design win efforts with the sales teams and at partners.
-Own the business groups interactions with the client support organization and ensure that customer technical issues are managed in a timely and effective manner.
-Document and escalate customer and partner technical and feature requirements to internal product and engineering teams.
-Craft clear and persuasive technical content (demos, presentations, whitepapers, and more) to drive awareness, understanding, and demand for solutions.
Requirements:
-3-7 years experience in technical marketing, applications engineering, sales engineering, technical support or similar roles.
-Experience with USB hardware and major operating systems. Experience with USB Audio and Video devices desired.
-Experience with System level problem solving.
-Familiarity with video conferencing, Unified Communications, and collaboration solutions/software industry is a plus.
-Ability to understand complex Engineering Technical concepts and understand IT hardware deployment challenges.
-A customer mindset and the ability to drive external partner and customer facing activities.
Qualifications:
-BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent proven technical experience
-Experience successfully driving results through internal and external stakeholders
-Excellent written and oral communications and interpersonal skills
-High energy, positive attitude and a strong work ethic
-Excellent organizational and project management skills with great attention to detail
