OTM seeking a Business Analyst for long term project at Fortune 500 client company. Pay rate negotiable DOE.

**Local candidates with local experience Preferred (Local = San Francisco Bay Area).

This client group provides leadership on the design and implementation of internal collaborative systems and their effective integration into business processes. They do this by partnering closely with business functions, company�s IT team, Sales/Marketing, and also by attending to people, process, and culture through proven change management methodologies.

There is a need for a Sr. Business Analyst that can drive detailed requirements and projects. The Business Analyst will work on a variety of projects and take direction from Program Managers.

Responsibilities:
• Apply Understanding of Stakeholder Needs - leverage best practices, learn client�s position
• Contextualize Impacts - identify implications of problems/issues/events on business processes
• Identify Opportunities for Improvement - optimization, proactive strategies, innovation
• Business Partnership - client buy-in and consulting on shared expertise
• IT Partnership - work with IT to express stakeholder needs and emphasis business impacts, explain IT issues back to stakeholders to achieve compromise

Required Skills:
• Business Analysis - identify patterns in user requests, elicit user stories, understand workflow processes, and make appropriate decisions to implement solutions and/or improve, existing implementations; use systematic approach to gather information and understand business needs and priorities, conduct gap analyses, derive conclusions, solve problems, and make informed decisions
• User-Centered Design - knowledge of UCD standards, best practices, common UI and web trends; consult in design of user research
• Web 2.0 Practices - knowledge of Web 2.0 standards, current Web 2.0 systems, common tools such as wikis, blogs, social networking, and content management systems
• Ability to build stakeholder and IT relationships
• Excellent communications skills- verbal and written communication, ability to facilitate meetings, produce visuals and presentations, negotiation, time management

The ideal candidate will:
• Understand and be able to use collaborative technologies, unified communications technologies, and social media
• Possess strong knowledge of change management models
• Compliant with Agile Process - writes user stories, grooms backlog, assigns to releases properly, maintains notes, mastery of Rally tool, keeps releases correctly stack-ranked
• Use a consultative approach with clients
• Require minimal supervision and work independently.
• Receive only general objective/direction on new assignments.
• Possess excellent writing, facilitation, and problem solving skills.
• Practice sound business judgment
• Work effectively with individual contributors, mid-level managers, and executives
• Be able to take direction from multiple people and prioritize project tasks appropriately
