[KITlist-Tech] Web User Interface Engineer (Silicon Valley , CA)

OTM seeking a Web User Interface Engineer for Fortune 500 Client Company. Pay rate negotiable DOE.

**Local candidates with local experience preferred (Local = San Francisco Bay Area)**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop, Update, Maintain UI side of existing large scale, IT J2EE applications.
- Design, document and develop new UI features.
- Engage with other business and development groups as necessary for testing and issue resolution.

Required Technical Skills & Competencies:

- 8+ years of professional front-end development experience in a rapid release environment
- Passion for producing beautiful user interfaces
- Dedication to providing a remarkable user experience
- Outstanding design sense
- Extensive knowledge jQuery, Javascript, CSS2/3 and HTML4/5

Required Experience:

- BS in related field or equivalent work experience, plus additional 8 years related experience.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience developing Web User Interfaces in Html, CSS, Javascript

- Excellent Communication Skills
- Experience with working in a Unix/Linux environment.
- Comfortable with source version control software (CVS, SVN).
- Knowledge of server-side technologies such as J2EE, Core Java, Struts2, MVC
