The Web Development Project Consultant (WDPC) is responsible for coordinating and participating in all facets of Web content and application design and development, programming, scripting, production, maintenance, upgrades, quality assurance, and compliance with established company publishing standards.

The WDPC consults with clients on applications, information architecture, content design and development, user interface, usability testing, presentation, and documentation. The WDPC also coordinates and communicates business and technical information (e.g., project activity summaries, technical briefings, etc.) to clients and the home office to expedite knowledge transfer within the JWay organization.

Additionally, the WDPC conducts standards and process training for client accounts, attends planning meetings, and participates in tactical implementations (e.g., helping the Account/Project Manager (A/PM) identify project resources and new sales opportunities or researching new Web technologies as they relate to client and company business requirements).
Qualifications

* Expert-level experience in HTML4/5, XML, CSS and JavaScript
* Experience in JavaScript library such as JQuery, Dojo, or EXT JS
* Experience developing intranet and extranet solutions for large corporations
* Experience in dynamic Web development using PHP with a database backend such as Oracle or MySql
* Experience in Photoshop/,ImageReady and/or Fireworks, Flash and ActionScript
* Expert-level experience in Microsoft Office Suite
* Must have a keen eye for user interface design – both for usability and aesthetic purposes
* Ability to clearly annotate code and write concise explanatory documentation
* Must excel in teamwork, problem-solving, project planning and execution, multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with an international group of developers and Marcom managers.
* Experience in the preparation of documents and correspondence including: proofreading materials for accuracy, completeness, formatting, and correct English usage including grammar, punctuation, and spelling
* Education: BA or BS degree in Web Technologies, CS, Graphic Design, or a related field. MA or MS degree highly desired.

IDEAL CANDIDATE ALSO HAS:

* Excellent organization and project management discipline
* Experience in Java, Servlet, JSP and Perl programming
* Knowledge in Mobile Web and Application development for iOS and/or Android
* Experience in using content management systems such as Documentum, WordPress, Drupal and Joomla
* Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly and efficiently
* Willingness to work smart and hard to achieve stretched goals
