Developer Position Overview:
Talent Impact is seeking a full time .Net/Analytics Software Developer who will be responsible for developing high quality software end to end; the incumbent will be involved in some aspects of design but primarily will be responsible for the delivery of code required by the design presented.
Responsibilities:
� Ensure software development methods utilize best practices and maintain high quality, security and performance.
� Ensure protection of intellectual property and source code and adhere to company source code management processes and procedures.
� Provide regular feedback on improvement to BIS software development processes and procedures.
� Remain fully compliant with regulatory rules and standards at all times.
� Adhere to all Company and BIS Department standards.
� Actively participate in Agile process and provide appropriate feedback to improve team delivery, performance and/or processes where necessary.
� Provide Outstanding Service at all times, both to internal and external customers.
� Ensure alignment to company and department initiatives and strategies.
� Meet deadlines and ensure quality and security is of high standards.
� Always look to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
� College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience.
� Three years + .Net software development experience.
� Experience extracting/manipulating/presenting data consumed from MS SQL corporate data warehouses.
� Solid working knowledge of VB.Net a preference.
� Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies.
� Ability to code software according to published standards and design guidelines.
� Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure.
� A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to software development.
� Pragmatic approach to problem solving.
