Senior Business Analyst needed for long term (1+ year) project at direct client project.

Role and responsibilities
· Data analysis
· Ability to quickly grasp business needs and issues, and is comfortable interpreting meaning and relevance from raw data.
· Will use various databases and systems to obtain key data elements, and compile these into both standard (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) and ad hoc reports as needed.<br /><br /> · Analyze internal and external data to develop long term trend views (historic and forecast) which supports strategic decision making.<br /><br /> · Create and enhance existing reports and dashboards.<br /><br /> · Participation in Business Requirement writing and review<br /><br /> · Participation in Functional Specification writing and review<br /><br /> · Relevancy Analysis <br /><br /> Required skills:<br /><br /> Outstanding data analysis<br /><br /> Acute attention to detail critical<br /><br /> Excellent written and oral communication skills.<br /><br /> Demonstrated ability to work and complete projects independently in a dynamic fast-paced environment, but can work in a team environment.<br /><br /> Fluent in Word, PowerPoint and with advanced Excel knowledge.<br /><br /> Strong Data Analytical and Problem solving skills with proven abilities to deliver complex analyses.<br /><br /> Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis<br /><br /> Ability to articulate short-term (quick wins) and longer-term solutions.<br /><br /> Previous ROI analysis<br /><br /> Basic knowledge of the structure and functionality of web search <br /><br /> An understanding of web search strategies and techniques.<br /><br /> Familiarity with HTML and XML is strongly preferred.<br /><br /> Familiarity with metadata is strongly preferred<br /><br /> Previous search relevancy analysis is a plus<br /><br /> Knowledge of FAST Search engine or Attivio is a plus.<br /><br /> Familiarity with user experience analysis a plus<br /><br /> Ability to create SQL queries a plus<br /><br /> Familiarity with the analysis of Customer Satisfaction measurements as well as a firm grasp of standard satisfaction methodologies is a plus<br /><br /> <br />(v1.06 - 1410637556)
