Title: QA Engineer w/ programming experience in Java
Location: San Jose, CA
Contract: 6+months (renewed quarterly)

Java - at least 1 to 2 years a must and the rest - QA experience - manual or automated

Skill Set Requirements:
Soft Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to manage competing high priority tasks.
Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with others
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to analyze requirements in-depth, not just at the surface.
Fast learner and flexible, be able to adapt to new areas and technologies

Technical Skills
5-7 years of strong QA/testing experience with strong QA aptitude
QA experience in testing Web-based applications: frontend and backend (manual and automated) and good understanding QA methodology and software development life cycle.
Experience in writing detailed test cases (positive, negative, boundary, etc.)
Lead and facilitate the testing of the application to include issue identification, logging and resolution with business acceptance for programming experience in Javamove to production
Strong DB/SQL scripting skills

Must have Test automation experience OR 1-2 years of programming experience in Java
