Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced (5+ years) Network Engineer to join thier growing team. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively work with a wide range of personalities, businesses and varying technical needs. Key factors to success include effective communications skills and EXCELLENT customer service skills.
This is designed to be a growth position and provides a great opportunity to work with a very strong technical team. You should enjoy designing and implementing IT solutions using a range of legacy and cutting edge products.

Responsibilities:
�Directly responsible for implementing solutions from start to finish, ranging from Exchange 2010, VMware virtualization, VOIP implementations, networking, etc.

�Complete documentation of implemented solutions, assessments (network, infrastructure), etc.

� Work directly with clients and prospects to conduct assessments and write up Findings Recommendations

� Work with our Managed Services Practice (MSP) team to resolve escalated IT Support issues.

� Demonstrate an ability to work independently on projects and ensure completion

� Work within a team of IT support professionals including other Junior/Senior level Engineers, IT Consultants, Account Managers and our Administrative staff to provide enterprise class IT solutions and customer service.

� Mentor Junior level Engineers

� Participate within general on-boarding activities for new clients.

�Implement IT solutions in accordance with established methodologies and best practice processes. Provide leadership and suggestions in the areas of process improvement, IT system/tool acquisition and/or product development that have tangible benefits within the Consulting Services model.

�Participate in Sales calls to provide general engineering support to the sales process, or as subject matter expert on a specific technologies and solutions.

�Work with Sales and Project Management Office to provide pre-sales support and assist with Remediation/Solutions Proposals

�Assist with Scope/Statement of Work development for new projects, as required.

Requirements:
� Previous work experience within an IT Services, Managed Services, or Consulting firm a BIG plus.

�Previous roles such as �team/tech lead,� �technical architect,� and/or �supervisor� and strong leadership skills and experience

�Ability to design a solution and drive it from start to finish with minimal supervision

�Implementation expertise in any of the following technologies: Windows technology (AD 2008), Messaging Architecture (Exchange 2010), SharePoint, VMware virtualization, SAN technology (Compellent, EMC, EqualLogic), VOIP (Ring Central, M5, CISCO UC500, UCMBE, Call Manager, Unity, etc.), SQL Server, Network Architecture (ASA, PIX, router/switch configuration), Citrix (XenApp Server, CAG).

�Strong experience in backup design, administration and support using tools such as Symantec Backup Exec, StorageCraft ShadowProtect, Ontrack PowerControls, Acronis Backup Recovery, Iron Mountain LiveVault/Connected, etc.

� Administrative knowledge of least one enterprise class AntiSpam, antivirus and antispyware product from the following vendors: Postini, Webroot, Barracuda Networks, Symantec, McAfee or Trend Micro.

�UNIX and Mac experience a plus

�Working knowledge of IT monitoring tools such as Nimsoft, BMC, Nagios, Zenith Infotech SaaZ, etc., a plus. Working knowledge of systems/incident management tools such as Kaseya, Remedy, ConnectWise, etc., also considered a plus.

The Site Operations Engineer will help maintain our mission critical production infrastructure to high levels of availability, security, scalability, performance, and efficiency.

� Improve service availability and scalability through process, tools, and automation

Job Description:
The Senior Security Engineer will work closely with the development and operations teams, and will be the primary contributor to security analysis, evaluation, and improvement. This engineer will participate in code reviews and design reviews for security implications of all projects and will lead development efforts for specific security projects. This engineer will educate the teams about secure application development, and will help design and create innovative security solutions for our financial management solutions. Hello Everyone,

We've grown to over 71,000 members just by word-of-mouth by friends helping friends find great jobs.

In order to have enough great jobs for everyone, we need you to tell employers and recruiters about the KIT List so we can get everyone back to work (or into new jobs) faster. The power of friends helping friends is the whole spirit of the KIT List!

KIT LIST TIPS:

This is the monthly reminder to let you know that if the volume of KIT emails is getting too much for your system, here are three options to help you manage them:

1. Direct all KIT emails to a special folder:

Some email systems allow you to create separate folders within your in-box. Create a KIT List folder and then create an email filter that will direct any emails with the word "KIT" in the subject line into that folder.


2. Have your emails grouped into one (or more) KIT email per day:

You can choose "Daily Digest" on your YahooGroups email preferences so that instead of getting individual emails. About twenty individual emails are then combined into one. Depending on the email volume for the day, you may receive more than one digest email.

Go to the KIT List home page on Yahoo Groups at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KITlist-Tech/

Go to the "Edit Membership" link near the top of the page right above the blue bar saying "Sue Connelly's Keep In Touch List." Under Step 2, choose "Daily Digest" in the "Message Delivery" section. Hit the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page, and you should be all set.


3. Stop all KIT emails and view jobs via the Web:

Go to the KIT List home page on Yahoo Groups at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KITlist-Tech/

Go to the "Edit Membership" link near the top of the page right above the blue bar saying "Sue Connelly's Keep In Touch List." Then go under "Message Delivery" and choose "Special Notices." Be sure to choose "Special Notices" since we do occasionally send out important messages from the moderators. Then hit the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of software development or solutions architecting experience in the following areas:

� At least 4+ years of Technical pre-sales experience.
� C++/C programming.

Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced (5+ years) Network Engineer to join thier growing team. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively work with a wide range of personalities, businesses and varying technical needs. Key factors to success include effective communications skills and EXCELLENT customer service skills.
This is designed to be a growth position and provides a great opportunity to work with a very strong technical team. You should enjoy designing and implementing IT solutions using a range of legacy and cutting edge products.

Responsibilities:
� Directly responsible for implementing solutions from start to finish, ranging from Exchange 2010, VMware virtualization, VOIP implementations, networking, etc.

�Complete documentation of implemented solutions, assessments (network, infrastructure), etc.

�Work directly with clients and prospects to conduct assessments and write up Findings

Recommendations
�Work with our Managed Services Practice (MSP) team to resolve escalated IT Support issues.

�Demonstrate an ability to work independently on projects and ensure completion

�Work within a team of IT support professionals including other Junior/Senior level Engineers, IT Consultants, Account Managers and our Administrative staff to provide enterprise class IT solutions and customer service.

� Mentor Junior level Engineers

�Participate within general on-boarding activities for new clients.

� Implement IT solutions in accordance with established methodologies and best practice processes. Provide leadership and suggestions in the areas of process improvement, IT system/tool acquisition and/or product development that have tangible benefits within the Consulting Services model.

� Participate in Sales calls to provide general engineering support to the sales process, or as subject matter expert on a specific technologies and solutions.

�Work with Sales and Project Management Office to provide pre-sales support and assist with Remediation/Solutions Proposals

�Assist with Scope/Statement of Work development for new projects, as required.

Requirements:
�Previous work experience within an IT Services, Managed Services, or Consulting firm a BIG plus.

� Previous roles such as �team/tech lead,� �technical architect,� and/or �supervisor� and strong leadership skills and experience

�Ability to design a solution and drive it from start to finish with minimal supervision

�Implementation expertise in any of the following technologies: Windows technology (AD 2008), Messaging Architecture (Exchange 2010), SharePoint, VMware virtualization, SAN technology (Compellent, EMC, EqualLogic), VOIP (Ring Central, M5, CISCO UC500, UCMBE, Call Manager, Unity, etc.), SQL Server, Network Architecture (ASA, PIX, router/switch configuration), Citrix (XenApp Server, CAG).

�Strong experience in backup design, administration and support using tools such as Symantec Backup Exec, StorageCraft ShadowProtect, Ontrack PowerControls, Acronis Backup Recovery, Iron Mountain LiveVault/Connected, etc.

� Administrative knowledge of least one enterprise class AntiSpam, antivirus and antispyware product from
the following vendors: Postini, Webroot, Barracuda Networks, Symantec, McAfee or Trend Micro.

�UNIX and Mac experience a plus

�Working knowledge of IT monitoring tools such as Nimsoft, BMC, Nagios, Zenith Infotech SaaZ, etc., a plus.

Working knowledge of systems/incident management tools such as Kaseya, Remedy, ConnectWise, etc., also considered a plus.

Job Description:
The Sr. Site Operations Engineer will help maintain our mission critical production infrastructure to high levels of availability, security, scalability, performance, and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:
� Improve service availability and scalability through process, tools, and automation
� Configure and maintain servers and networks.
� Configure and maintain software components, i.e., operating systems, web servers, application execution environments.
� Configure and maintain system monitoring and backups.
� Manage network security, routing, bandwidth, performance.
� Participate in the team�s 24x7 on call rotation.
� Monitor production systems, handle alerts and troubleshoot problems.

Job Requirements:
� College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
� 5+ years of systems administration experience.
� Fluency in systems administration of Linux, Apache, Tomcat.
� Understanding and experience with web application environments, such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, routing, load balancing, CDNs, etc.

Job Description:
The Senior Security Engineer will work closely with the development and operations teams, and will be the primary contributor to security analysis, evaluation, and improvement. This engineer will participate in code reviews and design reviews for security implications of all projects and will lead development efforts for specific security projects. This engineer will educate the teams about secure application development, and will help design and create innovative security solutions for our financial management solutions. This person will play a key role providing both strategic and tactical security advice and help in developing technology solutions which promote the security of our customers� data.

Job Responsibilities:
� Responsibilities include identifying and understanding the development practices, networks and infrastructure that represent the key building blocks and operational strengths of cloud computing solutions.
� This engineer will recommend and build solutions and mitigations to address issues and mitigate exposure.

� You will have input on application design, secure coding practices, log forensics, log design and application code security.
� The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience protecting against web and web services security vulnerabilities including cross-site scripting, SQL injection, DoS attacks, XML/SOAP and API attacks, email security flaws and more.
� You will stay informed about industry best practices, be aware of new and developing security attack methods, and present your insights regularly to internal development teams.
� This individual will also help acquire or build application security tools for internal use, and will champion adoption and usage of those tools.

� Minimum of 5 years programming experience with related IT and security experience
