POSITION - NETWORK / SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
LOCATION - PLEASANTON, CA

JOB DESCRIPTION
� Develop, implement, and reviews companywide policy for information technology related issues, including information security, communication devices.
� Maintaining the integrity of network infrastructure - LAN, WLAN, WAN, server and network operating systems, VOIP system, and back office applications - for uninterrupted business and management operations.
� Troubleshoots and resolves malfunctions with networked infrastructure, and server operating systems.
� Designs, implements, and administers LAN, WLAN, WAN.
� Configuring and resolving LAN/WAN problem for all on and off sites users.
� Utilizes management software to run performance queries and designs and implements testing routines to identify and resolve conflicts and potential operating malfunctions.
� Setting up and resolving to issues on all company IT equipment - servers, PCs, network devices, and mobile devices.
� Managing and updating web site.
� Handling networking tools and wiring
� Support to office end users on call and/or walk into
� Support to remote users
� Monitor and manage VPN and Firewall.
� Monitor health of PCs, servers, and network.
� Monitor and enforce physical security of computers, drivers, and network equipment.
� Monitoring virus attack, system crash with resulting data loses, and/or theft or loss of hardware or data.
� Installs, configures, maintains, troubleshoots, and provides technical service support network hardware and software.
� Creating and managing accounts and OUs in Active Directory.
� Set up, diagnose, and maintain on desktop and notebook PCs, peripheral and mobile devices.
� Trained end users to operate hardware and software, and update security.
REQUIREMENTS
� Strong understanding of leased lines - T1, PRI and Fiber
� Strong understanding of TCP/IP network administration.
� Knowledge of cabling, wiring closets, and patches panel.
� Experience with Peplink, Fortinet , Office365, SharePoint, Linux, Windows server (2003 or later), Digium Switchvox
� Backup system, RAID, VMware
� Microsoft Technologies: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Office, Windows XP, 7, 8
