OTM is seeking a Web Content Developer to join a project team for Fortune 500 Client Company. Pay rate negotiable DOE.
**Local candidates with local experience preferred (local = San Francisco Bay Area)
Responsibilities:
� Transforming Photoshop mock-ups from Client Design teams to HTML layouts styled with CSS to build both promotional campaign and product launch pages for online sales.
� Working with the greater Content team, delivering front-end code that integrates easily into the content environment
� Working with the Engineering team to establish and support best practices, maintaining staging environment layouts and CSS using Subversion
� Working with cross-functional teams, understanding and refining user interface requirements, designing and building layouts and templates, and clearly documenting the development process
Qualifications:
� Strong HTML and CSS skills. Experience in JavaScript and PHP is a plus
� Knowledge and eagerness to implement current web design and development trends including HTML5, CSS3
� Proficiency in addressing and quickly fixing browser compatibility issues
� Ability to work efficiently under incredibly tight timelines and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality of product and services
� Experience with Photoshop
� Experience with content management systems and Subversion or similar file management systems
� Understanding of challenges behind localization of large-scale sites and its impact on web development
� Strong teamwork and communication skills
� Great attention to detail
� Passion for creating a great user experience and interaction
� Understanding of performance, web analytics, SEO techniques
� Minimum 3 years of experience in developing front-end code for large-scale websites
� B.S. / B.A. degree or equivalent work experience
