POSITION SUMMARY:
The Front End Web Developer will design, develop, test, and implement web sites that are seen by millions of visitors every day to ensure the best possible user experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
� At least 2 to 3 years experience with Object Oriented JavaScript
� Write front end code in HTML/CSS and JavaScript
� Experience with or drive to learn Node/Backbone/Angular
� Test code across platforms and browsers
� Document work and communicate issues when they arise
� Assist troubleshooting production issues
ADDITIONAL BONUS SKILLS:
� Bachelor���s degree in Computer Science or related field
� Must be familiar with any or all of the following: Perl, PHP, MySQL, Flash, Actionscript, SEO, graphic design/UI
� Hand-code standards-compliant pages using table-less layouts from design mockups
� Work on cross functional teams providing guidance on user interface design and implementation
� Experience developing social networking sites
� Must have at least 5 years of front-end development experience
� Expert proficiency in XHTML and CSS as well as JavaScript, DOM, XSLT/XML, and jQuery
� Experience using Photoshop/ImageReady for image slicing and optimization
� Familiar with cross-platform and cross-browser issues, web standards and best practices
� Familiar with HTML5, CSS3, Node and Backbone and Angular
� Excellent problem-solving skills
� Ability to learn new tasks outside immediate range of skills
� Excellent verbal and written communication skills
� Able to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
� High degree of honesty and integrity
� Deadline oriented and able to multi-task in a fast pace environment
� Team-player, positive attitude, and flexible
