About the Job
We are looking for an experienced engineer manager to join our team. We are building an exciting product. You'll be leading and growing a team of electrical and software engineers, industrial designers, test quality engineers. You will work on architecture, product development, project management and be a key decision maker.
Responsibilities
Lead device architecture implementation
Grow the team, be a mentor, be the leader
Use your knowledge and experience to make tradeoffs in design, functionality, features, etc…
Be a part of the company strategy team and executive team
Work with suppliers to learn about the latest trends and technologies
Suggest, Implement and Validate new tools
Experience
At least 10 years of experience in one of the areas and knowledge: Embedded design, CE products, Low power radios. Experience in managing project/programs to successful outcomes.
History of innovation with examples of developing new technologies and practices for designs.
Experience working with in-house teams and Asian ODM teams.
Required Skills
Familiar with consumer electronics development and/or embedded design.
Knows how to program and/or how to distinguish clean well-structured code from spaghetti code.
Well organized and familiar with tools such as Jira, Github and Agile.
Education
BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
