Ready for a new challenge?! Rocket Lawyer is looking an engineering ninja who can support our development and release process, working with our development and QA teams and shepherding application code from inception through to production.

So are you the right person? You should be an IT professional who can jump right in and contribute to our mission of delivering legal help to the masses. You'll be working directly with the product development team on the development and release of new features and products on the Rocket Lawyer site. You will be responsible for making sure the development team has the resources they need to get high quality code out the door.

Here are your amazing responsibilities:

- Manage the systems required to build, test and deploy software into a range of environments spanning the full software development lifecycle

- Ensure software builds and deployments are fast, automated and reliable.

- Support frequent releases of the Rocket Lawyer application to the production site

- Support pre-production environments, and provide resources to developers and QA for developing and testing new code

- Manage and support source control and build tools

- Collaborate with QA to integrate test automation into our release process

- Provide on-call support for production site issues

- Ensure, where possible, that an automated approach is being taken to all aspects of software build and management

What makes you a perfect fit:

- Experience in a systems operations or systems integration role

- Familiar with source control concepts (branching, merging, etc.); github experience preferred

- Experience with build and integration tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, and SBT

- Knowledge of Chef or similar systems automation frameworks

- Able to perform basic troubleshooting of java-based application stacks (Apache, Tomcat)

- Familiarity with an agile development workflow

- Ability to work in a customer service role in support of internal customers on the development and QA teams
