Multimedia Developer needed for long term project work at a Fortune 500 Client Company.

Client Company is stable, public, and growing.

**Due to the nature of the interview process, local candidates with local experience only please (Local = San Francisco Bay Area)

In this role, you will work closely with many teams, such as Learning Experience, User Experience, Development, Product and Program Teams.

The Ideal Team Member Is:

Passionate about investigating new trends, techniques, and technologies and using them to keep products on the leading edge

Works well with other members

Can work with deadlines and milestones

A great communicator virtually, in person, and written

Responsibilities:

Perform learner research to help generate ideas for multimedia learning artifacts they will create

Facilitate project communication using user data across a multidisciplinary team throughout all phases of the project.

Prepare storyboards to outline artifacts and experiences

Write scripts and use Adobe Creative Suite to produce multimedia artifacts

Prepare graphics, animations, sound, video, photographs, and simulation outputs for editing

Create novel interactive HTML 5 graphics with JavaScript as part of online course development

Use existing HTML 5 and Flash templates for creating interactive curriculum and assessment activities

Create Video clips and associated podcasts

Develop tutorials for complex technical procedures

Take ownership of end-­to-­end experiences

Qualifications:

B.S. or higher in Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Sociology, Anthropology, Interaction Design, Graphical Design, or related field.

Experience gathering user requirements, conducting field studies, performing usability testing, and designing surveys to evaluate the media artifacts they create

Rapid Prototyping and Responsive Design skills are a must

Significant experience with HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, Flash/ActionScript, Basic XML, and Adobe Creative Suite

Basic LAMP/WAMP setup and administration (local web server for testing)

SVN client (Tortoise) use -­set up, check out, update, etc. from a repository

Audio and video editing skills

Ability and willingness to create small amounts of pixel perfect art assets

Excellent time-­management, multi-­tasking, and communication skills, with the ability to quickly prioritize tasks.

Self-­starter who is able to work both independently as well as collaboratively on a cross-­functional team.

Must communicate clearly and effectively; strong analytical and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.

Must be able to provide portfolio of work done in the past.

Ideal Candidate:

This person should be adaptable to fast turn-­around projects

Experience creating artifacts for training and educational contexts
