The position:
The Product Manager will play critical roles in the success of the company and will be key members of the management team. The individuals will be ultimately responsible for building the Product Roadmap and Plan of Record and Market Product requirements and will be the strategic and tactical hub of the product. The Product managers will work closely with other functions such as product marketing, marketing communications, engineering, and sales.
Responsibilities:
• Product Roadmap and Plan of Record, Market Product requirements, be the strategic and tactical hub of the product
• Collateral and asset creation for product marketing and lead generation, training of sales engineers and sales account managers on new releases
• Sales enablement, working with sales and presales, support the customer acquisition through sales calls, presentation, competitive analysis, ROI analyses, sales presentations, strategy discussions, webinars, user group meeting support
• Support established existing sales channels and the market definition of new business initiatives for Workload Automation
• Plan and conduct market research to identify opportunities for increased sales.
• Work with the Executive team to develop ongoing company strategy and ensure that targets are met.
• Subject matter expert / product expert for consultation for sales
• Own process for new product investment and drive new product introduction
• Maintain product "wiki" for distribution of product knowledge
• Maintain roadmap of external vendor roadmaps and releases
Requirements:
• Strong technical experience with operations, systems, application and network control, automation and management software and services as well as enterprise-level applications and system-management software.
• 5+ years of experience in an enterprise IT organization, with slant toward IT operations and management systems software or experience in a software development team driving product requirements and definition.
• Technical BA/BS degree.
• Experience in program or initiative management, some exposure to defining requirements and working with engineering or IT personnel on implementations.
• Working knowledge of ITIL
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Current on technology trends and standards
