Senior Product Manager – Enterprise Software
Location: Richardson, TX
Our enterprise software client is looking for a Senior Product Manager to manage its Work Force Optimization group. This strategic position is a hub that defines the product roadmap with R&D, breaks down the market competition with Marketing, engages customers with Sales, and ensures delivery through Services. If you like a hands-on leadership position and wants to influence a broader group of stakeholders, we want to talk to you. Here's what you'll be doing:
- Lead product strategy in collaboration with senior management, product marketing, business development, engineering, sales, services, support and finance
- Manage a work force management product management team responsible for successfully developing product themes, epochs, user stories and user/ buyer personas
- Synthesize information from multiple sources (e.g. research, usability, customer feedback, partner data, competitive assessment, market trends) and develop, define and prioritize requirements for product development
- Define and lead the end-to-end product management process driving timely, robust and high-quality releases that adhere to the product roadmap
- Educate and enable the customer facing organizations to ensure successful go-to-market
- Support sales and services in customer engagements—capturing the voice of the customer and bringing it back to the product and R&D teams
- Respond to requests for product/roadmap/strategy information and details from internal stakeholders including Support, Services and Sales organizations
- Partner with the field to manage customer issues and prevent escalations
- Implement Product Management best practices and discipline to deliver high quality outcomes and internal and external customer satisfaction
- Ensure that Product Managers on your team are consistently delivering on commitments, objectives and SLAs
- Set KPIs for measuring product success – supporting financial targets and growth
- Lead the charge to better integrate WFM solutions within the NICE portfolio to deliver more customer value
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to assess partnerships, licensing and M&A opportunities

Your background should include:
- BA/BS Computer Science or related technical degree preferred and MBA strongly preferred
- 4-6 years experience in software product management. Experience using agile product development methodologies preferred
- 1-2 years direct team leadership experience
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills
- Experience making tough calls under pressure
- Experience successfully driving multiple software products simultaneously
- Experience in Enterprise Software that is used daily by 1000s of end users–Experience in B2B, Analytics and/or Cloud
- Ideally experience working with geographically distributed product management and development teams
- Experience in analytics, business intelligence, or software that lives in the hands of front-line operational teams would be an advantage
- Masterful ability to prioritize long (and growing) lists of demands
- Strong written, interpersonal and presentation communication skills and able to confidently and clearly communicate to both internal and external audiences
- Strong team player who is easy to partner with across functions, cultures and geographies
- Experience influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Experience working in a fast-paced, complex global environment
- Ability to travel up to 20%–domestic and international
